Our Process
Infusion
More than 90% of other CBD companies extract and process the whole plant material or Bulbous Trichomes aka green unripen tomatoes. By utilizing only hand-trimmed, strain-specific CBD and CBG flower, which hold ripe Capitate-Stalked Trichomes aka the fruit of the plant, we can use a lipid infusion that uses organic fatty acids to absorb and encapsulate compounds. This captures and preserves the CBD cannabinoid qualities without requiring any alcohol, harsh solvents, or CO2 that degrade the quality.
Consistent
To get consistent results, we do a few extra steps to identify every strain, harvest trichomes at the right time, and most importantly, offer and sell the actual flower that goes into our oil. We think the only way to understand which oil you like is to know the flower strain's source. Seeing is believing, and we encourage you, even if you don't smoke to see, smell, touch and get to know what material your oil comes from.
Trichomes
Trichomes are the resin glands that hold the CBD molecules and terpenes - the "fruit" of the cannabis plant. Most people don't know that there are 3 different types of Trichomes. The most common ones are called Bulbous Trichomes and are only found on the stalk of the plant and are similar to unripen tomatoes, aka Whole Plant. We use only Capitate-Stalked Trichomes that are exclusively on the flower-the ripest fruit.
Potent
Utilizing the Capitate-Stalked Trichomes from the plant is only part of the process; being sure we harvest at the right time is just as important. Like picking a tomato when it has fully ripened, we harvest the Trichomes when they are fully grown, ensuring the maximum potency of our CBD. We harvest 70% or more Trichomes when they are cloudy, producing a more energetic and clean effect for strains like Lifter and Elektra. We harvest 70% or more Trichomes when they are amber/cloudy producing a more calming effect for strains like Hawaiian Haze and White CBG.
